Abstract
JWU's North Miami Library hosts the annual Literary Cake Contest and displays the cakes year round in the library. The library also partners with W. J. Bryan Elementary School welcoming classes to the library with songs, coloring, and puppets. These programs embed the library in disciplines and the community outside of the normal scope of the academic library.
