Abstract
Research Question: Will the implementation of an environmentally interactive Restorative Nursing Program increase resident’s participation and improve overall quality of life?
Aim: Through the unique perspective of Occupational Therapy, this projects aims to provide an intrinsic purpose and motivation for residents as well as motivate staff by providing the necessary tools to encourage participation in the residents.
Purpose: To enhance the restorative nursing program at Steere House by incorporating environmentally interactive activities and provide staff training to increase carryover.
