Abstract
Research Question, Purpose, and Aim:
PIO Question: How do yoga and mindfulness-based interventions benefit preschool aged children in their social-emotional development?
Purpose: To identify social-emotional learning activities that promote positive development for preschool-aged children. Positive social-emotional development will then assist children with social participation, education, play, and participation in ADL’s and IADL’s as they continue to develop.
Aim: To identify the benefits of yoga and mindfulness-based programs assisting preschool aged children’s social-emotional development.
