Abstract
Parents/caregivers desire quick and efficient ways to access educational materials for their child with mobility impairments. There is a lack of research surrounding receptivity to the provision of pediatric power mobility educational materials despite evidence of its benefits. This scoping review investigated 13 articles to highlight successful strategies for parents/ caregivers and best ways to develop the educational intervention. The purpose of the review is to conclude which multimodal educational materials are needed to provide the population with the resources that will help them increase their understanding, make the most age-appropriate selection, and confidence in their selection to support their child’s one-time development and maximize learning.
