Abstract
Parkinson’s Disease (PD) is a neurodegenerative disease that negatively impacts occupational performance due to the effect it has on motor and nonmotor skills. Research suggests that forced intense exercise such as noncontact boxing improves these motor and nonmotor symptoms in individuals with PD. Unfortunately, there is no literature that determines a direct link to noncontact boxing and an improvement in occupational performance for individuals with PD. This study aims to make this direct link using the Rock Steady Boxing (RSB) protocol.
