Abstract
The purpose of this project was to re-brand an existing company that offers users a service. Indeed was chosen due to its outdated branding and potential for modernized design. Inspiration was taken from other employment websites, such as Handshake. For the new logo, the outdated corporate blue was replaced with a bright, yet clean, lime green. A simple checkmark was placed over the “I” was paired with a clean Sans Serif font. To improve the flow, the tagline was also slightly altered. The redesigned website was much more user friendly, featuring an easily scannable home page for new job postings. A simple account page allows users to edit their preferences and their profile, which can be seen by employers. The print ad, which would be placed in a magazine, is a simple yet informative piece that showcases the Indeed app. Sharing the same aesthetic, the web ad would be placed in the sidebar of a website. In the end, Indeed’s new branding is modern, clean, and ready to help people find their next job.
