Abstract

A diagnosis of Multiple Sclerosis (MS) can lead to a variety of implications including upper extremity dysfunction. Since hands play a critical role in performing daily occupations, diminished hand and upper extremity function can significantly reduce occupational engagement and quality of life. Implementing evidence-based interventions to improve hand function in individuals with MS has the potential to enhance occupational engagement and improve overall quality of life.
