Abstract
This project's objective was to perform a comprehensive intake on a lab partner and then develop a 4-week corrective exercise program. This intake included using the PAR-Q+, which helped gather information about medical history, current injuries, and future goals to better assess the client safely. Once the information was gathered and interpreted, the client was directed to perform exercise assessments to then determine which muscles were overactive/shortened or underactive/lengthened. After the assessments were completed, findings on which muscles were to be inhibited, lengthened, and strengthened in isolation were found. Using this information, a 4-week progressive integration exercise program geared towards the client’s goals was designed.
