The ScholarsArchive@JWU is an open-access Institutional Repository (IR) for the scholarship and creative output of members of the Johnson & Wales community, hosted by Johnson & Wales Library. The IR makes publications and creative works freely accessible, providing a simple way for authors and contributors to preserve and showcase their work.

This service can help identify publisher permissions, maintain peer-reviewed e-journals, and collect and manage conference materials. Submissions can include working papers, copies of published articles, conference papers, presentations, multi-media works, datasets, creative works, and other works not published elsewhere.

Visit ScholarsArchive@JWU or contact the library to find out more!

Open Access Week is a global event now entering its sixth year. It’s an opportunity for academic and research communities to continue to learn about the potential benefits of Open Access, to share what they’ve learned with colleagues, and to help inspire wider participation in helping to make Open Access a new norm in scholarship and research.

Here’s a brief introduction to Open Access by one of the foremost experts on the subject, Peter Suber. Or visit the Open Access Directory for a complete look at everything related to Open Access and the Open Access Movement.
