Abstract
This handbook is intended to serve as a student guide to APA style and documentation. It addresses the most basic rules for manuscript preparation-the guidelines necessary to ensure clear and consistent presentation of written text. The handbook also presents basic rules for contextual, parenthetical, and reference list citations. This guide is not a substitute for the Publication Manual of the American Psychological Association (2001).
